Affinia 50 Hotel wanted to give you all a quick update on the planned renovations:

 • February 4, 2013 - Still scheduled start date- work will take place Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm; entire floors will be closed during renovations.
 • April 2013 - The Club room (on the 2nd floor) and lobby will go under renovation - an alternative option will be offered for the breakfast and lounge area. Complimentary apples and water will be offered during the lobby renovation. Comfort hour will be Monday thru Friday and Sunday night will be movie night!
 • June 2013 - By the end of June they will have 50% of the new rooms in service

 • July 2013 - Expect the Club room and lobby to be back in service.
 • September 2013 - Renovation completed!!

The Affinia 50 Hotel will go from 211 rooms and suites to 251 beautifully redesigned rooms. The new design feels unique and independent. Guests will have a feeling of being in a NYC apartment with curated pieces and little touches such as book ends and pillows, as well as different and carefully selected artwork in each room.

Public spaces are being transformed; the lobby will connect with the second floor club room with an artistic sweeping staircase, making the entire space more inviting and accessible. The lobby will be expanded and include a grab and go retail space featuring food, beverages, sundries and fun, curated merchandise for hotel guests.

The design of the second floor club room will inspire guests to get out of their rooms and socialize with the feel of a living room where they can relax, work and take advantage of complimentary WI-FI.
 

The Perry South Beach, Miami Beach:

The Perry South Beach is excited to update you on their latest project. Renovation construction is taking place all over the hotel façade. All balconies, doors and windows are being replaced, with noise, throughout the building.  They expect to complete this phase around April 2013. At that time, they plan to start redoing the Pool Plaza area on the third floor and on to the beach club area. Also in April, they will start redoing the lobby area, restaurants and banquet rooms. In June 2013, they plan to start doing all the rooms on a floor-by-floor process. The renovation is expected to be complete sometime during the first quarter of 2014.
