Abreu online are glad to inform that most Hotels in Portugal will be opening their doors on June 1st.
For the health and safety of all, the Turismo de Portugal's entity has established an official certification for all tourism units that will follow safety rules; these are designated as Clean & Safe.
All employees have received relevant and specific training, following protocols and the next procedures have been put in place:
Individual protection – by using appropriate equipment
Hands sanitizing – frequent and effective hands washing and providing antiseptic solutions for clients to use, whenever it is needed and justified
Respiratory etiquette – avoiding the possible contagious spread
Social Conduct – keeping the social distancing between employees and clients
Daily monitoring for fever assessment – attention to any symptoms that may arise
Surface cleaning and proper laundry treatment – reinforcing disinfection measures and their frequency (several times a day), with special focus on surfaces and objects common areas and of regular use
Within the establishments, rules set by Public Health Organization (Direção Geral de Saúde) will be applied regarding:
Maximum occupancy
Social distancing
Information distribution via digital channels and online support
Hygiene and safety protocols
Indoor air purifier
Procedures for suspected infection cases
Hotels' certification can be checked on our website and XML.
